The Texas English Language Proficiency Assessment System (TELPAS) is an annual assessment for students who have been identified as Emergent Bilingual (EB). TELPAS assesses English language proficiency in four language domains - listening, speaking, reading, and writing.
Grades K-1 All Domains Online Basic Training
Grade 2 Writing Online Basic Training
Grades 2-3 Listening & Speaking Online Basic Training
Grades 3-5 Writing Online Basic Training
Grades 4-5 Listening & Speaking Online Basic Training
Grades 6-8 Writing Online Basic Training
Grades 6-8 Listening & Speaking Online Basic Training
Grades 9-12 Writing Online Basic Training
Test Consolidation Plan Approval Request - submitted before the assessment window opens for district approval
Test Consolidation Plan - completed after the assessment is completed
TEA resources include: assessed curriculum, blueprints, rubrics, and sample scoring guides that are all located under the "What is Tested" section

Log into the Cambium LMS
Under Courses, select 2026 TELPAS Rater Online Basic Training for your appropriate grade band level (K-1, 2, 3-5, 6-8, or 9-12)
Select the TELPAS Grades K-1 Practice or TELPAS Grade (cluster) Writing Practice module
Enroll in the Strive [K-1] TELPAS 2nd Calibration Review course
Complete the Strive course and print the certificate to present to CTC as your entrance ticket to the Monitored Calibration Set 2
